Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Tifime handles information when you use the iOS app and any connected features made available through it. It applies to information handled by us and by service providers acting for the app.
Media and Editing Information
When you choose photos, Live Photos, videos, or photo sequences, the app processes the media and the editing choices you make, such as trim points, captions, frame rate, output size, compression, previews, and exports. Core GIF creation is processed on your device. Drafts, thumbnails, generated files, and recent activity may be kept locally so the app can display and reuse your work.
Permissions You Control
The app asks for access only when you use the related feature. You can decline or later change a permission in iOS Settings, although the feature that depends on it may not work.
- Photo Library access is used after you choose local photos, Live Photos, or videos for GIF creation, and when you choose to save an export.
- Camera access is used only when you choose to record a video clip for an editing project.
- Microphone access is used only when you choose to record audio with a video clip.
Connected Features and Service Data
Some features may connect to our services. When you use one of those features, we and the relevant service providers may process the information needed to deliver it, including session or account details, feature interactions, network and device information, and information you submit through that feature. Connected-feature information is used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the requested service.
Analytics and Diagnostics
The app uses Adjust for analytics and attribution-related measurement. Adjust may process technical and event information relating to app installation, sessions, and app activity under its own privacy practices. The app disables App Tracking Transparency usage and does not present an App Tracking Transparency permission prompt.
Sharing and Platform Services
When you export or share a GIF through an iOS sharing feature, the destination you choose handles the shared material under its own terms and privacy practices. We may also use service providers that support hosting, diagnostics, analytics, and the operation of connected features. We do not authorize those providers to use information for unrelated purposes.
Retention and Deletion
Local drafts and exported files remain on your device until you remove them from the app, delete them through iOS, or uninstall the app. We retain connected-feature and technical records only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including security, support, and legal obligations. If a connected feature provides an account, its settings or deletion path can be used to request removal of the associated account information. You may also contact us with a privacy request.
Security, Children, and Changes
We use reasonable measures designed to protect information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Tifime is not directed to children who are not permitted to use the app under applicable law. We may update this Policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted at this location.
